About Them
Anyone who spent time in Paris enjoying cafe life knows that Café Bastille isn't really all that authentic, but most can't seem to help themselves for stopping in for a drink or two which is most likely due to a pushy hostess with a menu dragging you in there. Yes, it was one of the first places to open up on Belden, but we all know that it's the outdoor seating that we really like and not so much the food, which is pretty basic French fare that can be gotten at a lot of places in San Francisco.
If you want top notch French food, then save up for Fleur de Lys. Otherwise go down to Belden, have a very expensive croque monsieur and make sure to drink a lot so that you don't notice that the staff is rarely ever comprised of anyone French.
