Often dubbed the French Quarter of San Francisco, Belden Place (aka Belden Alley, Belden Lane, or Belden Street) offers a touristic, American repesentation of European dining. While the French are here to stay (Cafe Bastille, Plouf) some neighbors have opened up over the years including Cafe Tiramisu (Italian) and B44 (Catalan), although everything maintains something of a consistency (for better or worse) given that all but one of the restaurants are owned by two groups.

The restaurants are overall pretty decent and some are even quite good. The real time to come though, is when San Francisco gets warm because despite the outdoor seating being filled to capacity, you'll most likely be able to sit inside any given restaurant on any given night except Bastille Day when the alley is packed with people getting drunk all in the name in the French holiday.

Click on a single restaurant above, or go to the Restaurants or Menus sections for a full listing of all that Belden has to offer and the times when these offerings can be had. Please note that the prices will not be up to date as the menus menus are often revised upward.
